About.com is a website about many topics that may be of interest to you. There are information channels on a very wide range of topics such as: autos, business, electronics, home and garden and more. Under Home and Garden, there is an entire channel on cats. The cat channel includes informative articles on owning, breeding, training cats. A fun little article on this site educates us on feline vocabulary. That is, not cat’s talking, but words used in articles about cats.

The Cat Vocabulary provides dictionary-style definitions of each term, a pronunciation guide, with a sound file so you can hear the word pronounced, and in many cases, links to articles and other resources relevant to the term. There are over 50 terms on the site, with more added frequently. So you can find out: what a moogie is, or a kindle, or an ailurophile. I will help with the last one. An Ailurophile is someone who loves cats.
