Keeping And Being Cool

Because cats don’t sweat, it is harder for them to cool down on a hot summer’s day.

Animals are more susceptible to dehydration in the summer and it is essential that they have a clean, available source of drinking water at all times and especially on humid days. They will even like an ice cube in their water bowl every once in a while. You can also add nutrients to their water thanks to VitaPaw.

VitaPaw water has vitamins mixed in. It tastes just like water, but your pet gets something extra. The pet water (which can also be consumed by humans) comes in ½ liter and 1 liter bottles. The water contains added vitamins including iron, vitamin B12, thiamine, B6, niacin, B5 and riboflavin.

Water bowls should be placed wherever your cat will be during the day, so that there is always an ample supply. If possible, check his water bowls several time a day or use an automatic water station. In addition to water, water, everywhere, be sure your cat has shade to protect it from the sun. Or, better yet, encourage your cat to stay in doors during the heat of the day or the entire summer.
