Cat Intelligence Measured

What is ‘intelligence’? In general, intelligence is the capacity for learning and solving problems. A genius is one whose intelligence is very high - much better than average. Is your kitty a genius? Most of them are. :-)

Here is a fun book for you to read or to share. The Cat IQ Test by Melissa Miller is entertaining and educational. In the beginning she discusses the concept of animal intelligence in terms of science, physique, appearance, and legend.

In the second part of her book, Ms. Miller provides various tests to evaluate your pet’s visual and auditory skills and their social and domestic behavior. You get tested, too!

The Amazon reader evaluation for this book was 4 ½ stars. One reader said, "This book is great! It really works. For any cat. Just select the answer that is CLOSEST to what your cat does and add up the points. It’s that easy. And there is also an IQ test for you so you can see how much you know about cats. This is such a great book. Try it out!"
